Job Title: Risk Solutions Consultant
Location: United Kingdom (Remote-first, with occasional client site visits)

The Role
At Face the Risk Ltd, we believe risk should not be avoided, but understood, quantified, and actively managed.
We are seeking Risk Solutions Consultants to help our clients get strategic insights into their risk profile so that they can move from "tracking" risks to reducing risk in real ROI terms. This role goes beyond onboarding; you will influence how organisations approach, manage, and mitigate risk at a senior level.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Implementation
Lead the end-to-end implementation of our risk platform within client environments, ensuring it is tailored to their specific organisational systems and risk profiles.
Subject Matter Expertise
Apply your background in economics or business strategy to support clients in interpreting risk models and outputs.
Client Advisory
Act as a trusted advisor, supporting clients in moving from reactive risk tracking to proactive risk management using data-driven insights.
Product Feedback
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to communicate client requirements and contribute to ongoing platform development.
Workshops & Training
Design and deliver training sessions for senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives and risk professionals.

About You
Education
You have a degree in Economics, Business Strategy, Finance, or a related discipline. Or, you have a degree in Communication or Educational Psychology with a minor in one of these areas and knowledge of survey methods. Your favourite courses were inter-disciplinary capstone courses.
Extremely Strong Communication Skills
You must be able to communicate clearly in writing and in groups. You are comfortable presenting material to others, and genuinely like talking to people in real-time. You have an ability to translate complex economic or probabilistic concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Mindset
You are terminally curious about how the world works. You are organized, proactive, analytical, and solutions-focused, with the ability to anticipate challenges and respond effectively.
Experience
You have demonstrated experience in risk management, management consultancy, or strategic planning. You have background in an industry or area of public policy where you believe better risk measurement and management aligns with a passion to improve lives.
Technical Confidence
You are comfortable working with software platforms and leveraging them to deliver client value (no coding required). You are not daunted by learning new systems. You are comfortable trying new systems out on your own, but you are equally comfortable asking for help when you get stuck.


Internships at Face the Risk
As an intern, you won’t be doing busy work. You’ll contribute to real projects that shape how organisations make decisions.
- Support risk analysis and research across client projects
- Assist in interpreting data, models, and scenario outputs
- Contribute to strategy discussions and internal insights
- Work alongside consultants on client deliverables
- Gain exposure to our risk platform and methodologies
Who Should Apply
We’re looking for individuals who are analytical, curious, and eager to learn.
- Students or recent graduates in Economics, Finance, Business, Applied Psychology or related fields
- Strong interest in risk, strategy, collaborative decision-making or consulting
- Comfortable working with data and structured problem-solving
- Clear communicator with a proactive mindset
